PARENT INVOLVEMENT

Bay Association
Parents are
encouraged to become involved at PBCS. We have been blessed with
a group of supportive parents who repeatedly demonstrate their interest
in the school's goals and activities. The PBA (Pen Bay
Association) is made up of parents, teachers and adminstration of the
school. The PBA provides parents and staff with the opportunity
to cooperate together on social activities that enrich the life of our
school. It's purpose is to give opportunity to serve in
activities pertaining to the school, and to provide information to the
parents concerning the progress of needs of the school. Fund
raising to support various programs and activities, volunteer
involvement to help assist with various school functions, classroom and
prayer support all constitute the ministries of the PBA. All
parents are encouraged to attend PBA meetings and become
involved.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are an important aspect to the
success of our school. PBCS asks its parents to give of their
time in volunteer work at the school. Each family is encouraged
to complete at least ten hours of volunteer hours per school
year. Volunteer Coupon Books are available in the school office
for your convenience. Volunteering opportunities include:
- Classroom assistance
- Hot Lunch program
- Fundraising
- Event coordinating and planning
- Lunch and Recess monitoring
- Library assistance
- Art program assistance
- Field trip transportation
- And many more!
